Nicole Sobus-Jensen is a Registered Social Worker (Provisional Registry) based in the West Edmonton location.

Nicole has a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Calgary. Nicole is a trauma-informed and identity affirming Christian therapist who works with diverse clients from all backgrounds. Nicole is passionate about providing relationally safe therapy to individuals while they navigate life challenges.

Nicole works with children (3+), adolescents, and adults and she has training in a variety of approaches and utilize strategies focused on self awareness and empowerment.

Nicole is passionate about issues surrounding caregivers, chronic illness/pain, depression, domestic violence, grief, life transitions, parenting, peer relationships, self-esteem, spirituality and stress. Her therapeutic approach is derived from Attachment-based, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Existential, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Somatic and Strength-Based.

Nicole is available by appointment. She offers a free 15-minute consultation to prospective clients. Her services are covered by most insurance providers, and she provides direct billing options to Medavie, Sunlife, Greenshield and Alberta Blue Cross. Other insurers would be subjected to paying out of pocket and submitting the receipt for reimbursement.
